De quoi s’agit-il
Le m-aminophénol (3-aminophénol, CI 76545) est une amine aromatique utilisée comme substance de coloration capillaire. CosIng le classe comme colorant capillaire. Dans l’UE, il relève de l’annexe III (substances soumises à restrictions) et est autorisé dans les colorations capillaires d’oxydation et les produits destinés à colorer les cils.
Où l’utilise-t-on
Présent dans les colorations permanentes (d’oxydation) et les teintures pour cils, où il réagit avec d’autres précurseurs de colorants et un oxydant pour former la couleur.
Limites d’interprétation
La liste INCI indique quels ingrédients sont présents, pas en quelle quantité. Au-dessus de 1 %, les ingrédients sont listés par ordre décroissant de poids ; en dessous de 1 %, l’ordre est libre.

Eyelashes shall not be coloured if the consumer: — has a rash on the face or sensitive, irritated and damaged scalp, — has experienced any reaction after colouring hair or eyelashes,— has experienced a reaction to a temporary ‘black henna’ tattoo in the past. Rinse eyes immediately if product comes into contact with them.”
