De quoi s’agit-il
Le résorcinol (1,3-dihydroxybenzène, CI 76505) est un phénol de synthèse. CosIng le classe comme antioxydant, dénaturant, colorant capillaire et parfumant. Il est réglementé à l’annexe III du règlement cosmétique européen.
Où l’utilise-t-on
Présent surtout dans les colorations capillaires d’oxydation, ainsi que dans certaines teintures pour cils et lotions ou shampooings capillaires.
Limites d’interprétation
La liste INCI indique quels ingrédients sont présents, pas en quelle quantité. Au-dessus de 1 %, les ingrédients sont listés par ordre décroissant de poids ; en dessous de 1 %, l’ordre est libre.
Le résorcinol figure à l’annexe III avec des conditions et avertissements selon le type de produit ; voir la section sur la réglementation UE.

Contains resorcinol. Rinse hair well after application. Rinse eyes immediately if product comes into contact with them.‘Do not use to dye eyelashes.
