Was es ist
HC Blue No. 12 ist das Hydrochlorid von 4-[N-Ethyl-N-(2-hydroxyethyl)amino]-1-(2-hydroxyethyl)amino-2-nitrobenzol, ein blauer Nitrofarbstoff, der das Haar direkt färben kann. CosIng führt es als Haarfärbemittel. In der EU fällt es unter einen Eintrag in Anhang III (Stoffe mit Einschränkungen) für oxidative und nicht-oxidative Haarfärbemittel, mit vorgeschriebenen Warnhinweisen auf dem Etikett.
Wo es verwendet wird
Enthalten in permanenten und semipermanenten Haarfarben.

Die INCI-Liste zeigt, welche Inhaltsstoffe enthalten sind, aber nicht, wie viel davon. Inhaltsstoffe über 1 % werden in absteigender Reihenfolge ihres Gewichts aufgeführt; unter 1 % ist die Reihenfolge beliebig.
