Was es ist
o-Cymen-5-ol ist ein substituiertes Phenol (chemisch 4-Isopropyl-m-kresol). CosIng führt es als antimikrobiellen Stoff, Deodorantwirkstoff und Konservierungsmittel. In der EU ist es in Anhang V (zugelassene Konservierungsstoffe) aufgeführt.
Wo es verwendet wird
Enthalten in Deodorants, Zahnpasten, Mundspülungen, Cremes und Reinigungsprodukten.
Grenzen der Aussagekraft
Die INCI-Liste zeigt, welche Inhaltsstoffe enthalten sind, aber nicht, wie viel davon. Inhaltsstoffe über 1 % werden in absteigender Reihenfolge ihres Gewichts aufgeführt; unter 1 % ist die Reihenfolge beliebig.
