Was es ist

Kaliumthioglykolat (Kaliummercaptoacetat) ist das Kaliumsalz der Thioglykolsäure. CosIng führt es als Enthaarungsmittel sowie als Mittel zum Wellen oder Glätten der Haare. In der EU ist es in Anhang III (Stoffe mit Einschränkungen) aufgeführt.

Wo es verwendet wird

Enthalten in Enthaarungscremes, Dauerwellprodukten, Haarglättungsprodukten und Produkten zur Wimpernwelle.

Grenzen der Aussagekraft

Die INCI-Liste zeigt, welche Inhaltsstoffe enthalten sind, aber nicht, wie viel davon. Inhaltsstoffe über 1 % werden in absteigender Reihenfolge ihres Gewichts aufgeführt; unter 1 % ist die Reihenfolge beliebig.
