Was es ist
Toluene-2,5-Diamine (2-Methyl-p-phenylendiamin, CI 76042) ist ein aromatisches Amin, das als Farbvorstufe in oxidativen Haarfarben eingesetzt wird. Es ist chemisch mit p-Phenylendiamin verwandt. CosIng führt es als Haarfärbestoff. In der EU fällt es unter einen Eintrag in Anhang III (Stoffe mit Einschränkungen), der auch Warnhinweise auf dem Etikett vorschreibt.
Wo es verwendet wird
Enthalten in permanenten Haarfarben und Wimpernfärbeprodukten.

Die INCI-Liste zeigt, welche Inhaltsstoffe enthalten sind, aber nicht, wie viel davon. Inhaltsstoffe über 1 % werden in absteigender Reihenfolge ihres Gewichts aufgeführt; unter 1 % ist die Reihenfolge beliebig.
