Ein Oxidationsmittel für Haarfärbung und Zahnaufhellung.

Was es ist

Wasserstoffperoxid ist ein Oxidationsmittel. In Haarfarben entwickelt es die Farbe und hellt das natürliche Pigment auf; in Mundpflegeprodukten dient es zum Aufhellen.

Wo es verwendet wird

Haarfarben, Blondierprodukte, Zahnaufhellungsprodukte und einige Mundspülungen.

Grenzen der Aussagekraft

Die INCI-Liste zeigt, welche Inhaltsstoffe enthalten sind, aber nicht, wie viel davon. Inhaltsstoffe über 1 % werden in absteigender Reihenfolge ihres Gewichts aufgeführt; unter 1 % ist die Reihenfolge beliebig.

Seine Verwendung ist in Anhang III der EU-Kosmetikverordnung beschränkt, mit Grenzwerten und Warnhinweisen je nach Produktart; siehe Abschnitt zu den EU-Vorschriften.
