Qué es

El 2-metilresorcinol es un derivado metilado del resorcinol (2-metilbenceno-1,3-diol). CosIng lo clasifica como ingrediente para teñir el cabello. En la UE figura en el anexo III (sustancias sujetas a restricciones) para tintes capilares de oxidación y sin oxidación y para productos destinados a teñir las pestañas.

Dónde se utiliza

Presente en tintes capilares permanentes y otros productos de coloración del cabello y las pestañas.

Límites de la interpretación

La lista INCI indica qué ingredientes contiene el producto, pero no en qué cantidad. Los ingredientes por encima del 1 % se enumeran en orden decreciente de peso; por debajo del 1 %, el orden es libre.

This product is not in­tended for use on persons under the age of 16. Temporary ‘black henna’ tattoos may increase your risk of allergy. Do not colour your hair if: — you have a rash on your face or sensitive, irri­tated and damaged scalp, — you have ever experi­enced any reaction after colouring your hair, — you have experienced a reaction to a tempor­ary ‘black henna’ tattoo in the past.” (c) As from 3 March 2018, to be printed on the la­bel: The mixing ratio. “This product can cause severe allergic reactions.
