Wat het is
1-Methylhydantoin-2-imide is de INCI-naam voor creatinine, een cyclische verbinding die uit creatine ontstaat en van nature in het lichaam voorkomt. CosIng vermeldt het als huidverzorgend middel.
Waar het wordt gebruikt
Komt voor in gezichtscrèmes, serums en oogcrèmes, vaak naast creatine.
Grenzen van de interpretatie
De INCI-lijst laat zien welke ingrediënten aanwezig zijn, niet hoeveel van elk. Boven 1% worden ingrediënten in aflopende volgorde van gewicht vermeld; onder 1% is de volgorde vrij.
De INCI-naam verraadt niet hoe de grondstof is geproduceerd.
