Wat het is
2,4-Diaminophenoxyethanol HCl is het dihydrochloridezout van 2-(2,4-diaminofenoxy)ethanol, een aromatisch amine dat wordt gebruikt als component van oxidatieve haarverf. CosIng vermeldt het als haarkleurstof. In de EU staat het in bijlage III (stoffen met beperkingen), voor oxidatieve haarverfproducten en producten om wimpers te kleuren.

Te vinden in permanente haarverf en producten om wimpers te verven.
Grenzen van de interpretatie
De INCI-lijst laat zien welke ingrediënten aanwezig zijn, niet hoeveel van elk. Boven 1% worden ingrediënten in afnemende volgorde van gewicht vermeld; onder 1% is de volgorde vrij.
