Aluminum hydroxide is een anorganische verbinding. In cosmetica wordt het gebruikt als troebelingsmiddel en als coating op pigmenten en minerale uv-filters zoals titaandioxide.
Waar het wordt gebruikt
Te vinden in zonnebrandproducten, make-up en tandpasta's.
Grenzen van de interpretatie
De INCI-lijst laat zien welke ingrediënten aanwezig zijn, niet hoeveel van elk. Boven 1% worden ingrediënten in afnemende volgorde van gewicht vermeld; onder 1% is de volgorde vrij.
Het is geen antitranspirerende werkzame stof; antitranspiranten gebruiken aluminiumzouten zoals aluminiumchloorhydraat.
