Aminomethyl propanediol (2-amino-2-methylpropaan-1,3-diol) is een gesubstitueerde alifatische diol met een aminogroep. CosIng vermeldt het als buffermiddel en geurstof.
Waar het wordt gebruikt
Komt voor in crèmes, gels, serums en haarverzorgingsproducten, waar het wordt gebruikt om de pH in te stellen.
Grenzen van de interpretatie
De INCI-lijst laat zien welke ingrediënten aanwezig zijn, niet hoeveel van elk. Boven 1% staan de ingrediënten in aflopende volgorde van gewicht; onder 1% is de volgorde vrij.
Het etiket vermeldt de concentratie niet.
