Wat het is
Calcium pyrophosphate (dicalciumpyrofosfaat) is een anorganisch calciumzout van pyrofosforzuur. CosIng vermeldt het als schuurmiddel en ingrediënt voor mondverzorging.
Waar het wordt gebruikt
Vooral gebruikt in tandpasta's en andere mondverzorgingsproducten.
Grenzen van de interpretatie
De INCI-lijst laat zien welke ingrediënten aanwezig zijn, niet hoeveel van elk. Boven 1% worden ingrediënten in afnemende volgorde van gewicht vermeld; onder 1% is de volgorde vrij.
De INCI-naam laat de deeltjesgrootte niet zien, en die bepaalt hoe schurend een product is.
