Wat het is
Diethylhexyl butamido triazone is een organisch uv-filter dat vooral UVB-straling absorbeert. Het staat in bijlage VI (toegestane uv-filters) van de EU-cosmeticaverordening.
Waar het wordt gebruikt
Zonnebrandproducten en dagcrèmes met SPF.
Grenzen van de interpretatie
De INCI-lijst laat zien welke ingrediënten aanwezig zijn, niet hoeveel van elk. Boven 1% worden ingrediënten in afnemende volgorde van gewicht vermeld; onder 1% is de volgorde vrij.
De maximale concentratie is vastgelegd in bijlage VI; zie het onderdeel over EU-regelgeving. De aanwezigheid zegt niets over de SPF.
