Wat het is
Haematococcus pluvialis extract is een extract van de zoetwatermicroalg Haematococcus pluvialis, die bekendstaat als natuurlijke bron van het rode carotenoïde astaxanthine. CosIng vermeldt het als antioxidant.
Waar het wordt gebruikt
Komt voor in serums, crèmes, gezichtsoliën en oogcrèmes.
Grenzen van de interpretatie
De INCI-lijst laat zien welke ingrediënten aanwezig zijn, niet hoeveel van elk. Boven 1% staan de ingrediënten in aflopende volgorde van gewicht; onder 1% is de volgorde vrij.
De INCI-naam vertelt niets over de extractiemethode of het astaxanthinegehalte van het extract.
