Wat het is
Isopropyl stearate is de ester van isopropylalcohol en stearinezuur, een verzadigd C18-vetzuur. CosIng vermeldt het als bindend, verzachtend en huidverzorgend middel.
Waar het wordt gebruikt
Komt voor in crèmes, lotions, make-up, geperste poeders en lipproducten.
Grenzen van de interpretatie
De INCI-lijst laat zien welke ingrediënten aanwezig zijn, niet hoeveel van elk. Boven 1% staan de ingrediënten in aflopende volgorde van gewicht; onder 1% is de volgorde vrij.
De INCI-naam vertelt niet of het stearinezuur van plantaardige of dierlijke oorsprong is.
