Wat het is
Polyglyceryl-2 stearate is de mono-ester van stearinezuur met diglycerine (polyglycerine-2). CosIng vermeldt het als emulgerende tenside.
Waar het wordt gebruikt
Gebruikt in crèmes, lotions, balsems en zonneproducten.
Grenzen van de interpretatie
De INCI-lijst laat zien welke ingrediënten aanwezig zijn, niet hoeveel van elk. Boven 1% worden ingrediënten in afnemende volgorde van gewicht vermeld; onder 1% is de volgorde vrij.
De INCI-naam verraadt niet of het stearinezuur van plantaardige of dierlijke oorsprong is.
