Wat het is
Polyglyceryl-6 distearate is de diester van hexaglycerol (polyglycerine-6) en stearinezuur. CosIng vermeldt het als emulgerende oppervlakteactieve stof.
Waar het wordt gebruikt
Komt voor in crèmes, lotions en zonnebrandproducten.
Grenzen van de interpretatie
De INCI-lijst laat zien welke ingrediënten aanwezig zijn, niet hoeveel van elk. Boven 1% staan de ingrediënten in aflopende volgorde van gewicht; onder 1% is de volgorde vrij.
De INCI-naam vertelt niet of het stearinezuur van plantaardige of dierlijke oorsprong is.
