Wat het is
Sodium chondroitin sulfate is het natriumzout van chondroïtinesulfaat, een gesulfateerd glycosaminoglycaan uit afwisselende eenheden glucuronzuur en N-acetylgalactosamine, dat voorkomt in kraakbeen en ander bindweefsel. CosIng vermeldt het als antistatisch, haarconditionerend en huidconditionerend ingrediënt.
Waar het wordt gebruikt
Te vinden in crèmes, serums, oogcrèmes en haarverzorgingsproducten.
Grenzen van de interpretatie
De INCI-lijst laat zien welke ingrediënten aanwezig zijn, niet hoeveel van elk. Boven 1% worden ingrediënten in afnemende volgorde van gewicht vermeld; onder 1% is de volgorde vrij.
De INCI-naam zegt niets over de herkomst van de grondstof.
