About Ár Ocean
Ár Ocean is Lidl Ireland's first own-brand skincare range made in Ireland, launched in June 2024 after almost two years of development. It is produced by ULTRAPURE Laboratories, a family-run manufacturer in Ballina, County Mayo, under a €1 million supply deal. The four permanent products – Cleanser and Toner, Marine Moisturiser, Eye Cream and Hyaluronic Face Serum – are all in our database.
The seaweed set, four times over
Our 4 Ár Ocean entries cover the whole line: a face cream, the 2-in-1 cleanser and toner, the eye cream and the serum. The base is shared to an unusual degree – GLYCERIN, MARIS SAL (sea salt), LAMINARIA HYPERBOREA EXTRACT, LAMINARIA DIGITATA EXTRACT, FUCUS VESICULOSUS EXTRACT, CHONDRUS CRISPUS EXTRACT (Irish moss), PHENOXYETHANOL, SODIUM BENZOATE and POTASSIUM SORBATE all appear in all 4.
Fragrance is declared in 3 (75%); none contains parabens, silicones or denatured alcohol (ALCOHOL DENAT.).

When an entire line shares one seaweed complex, the product differences show up elsewhere – look at what is added further down the lists of the serum and moisturiser. The one formula without fragrance is worth identifying if you prefer unscented care; CITRONELLOL in 3 products follows the PARFUM pattern.
