About babydream
babydream is an own brand of the German drugstore chain Rossmann, introduced in 1997 as part of its first own-label portfolio. Rossmann develops and markets the range, which now spans more than 400 products – nappies, baby care, wet wipes, changing accessories, textiles and baby food – while external manufacturers make them. Our 5 entries are wet wipes, including '99% water' and extra sensitive versions, and a hair shampoo with a Polish label.
Wipes in the majority
Baby wipes (3) and a baby shampoo are the categories of the 5 babydream products. CITRIC ACID appears in all 5, SODIUM BENZOATE in 4, and SODIUM CITRATE, CAPRYLYL/CAPRYL GLUCOSIDE and GLYCERIN in 3.
Fragrance is declared in 1 formula (20%); none contains parabens, silicones or denatured alcohol (ALCOHOL DENAT.).
What '99% water' leaves
In a wipe marketed as 99% water, the remaining ingredients – here typically CITRIC ACID, SODIUM BENZOATE and SODIUM CITRATE – share the last one per cent, mostly to keep the lotion preserved and at a set pH. Because own brands can switch suppliers, compare the list on the current pack with one you know.
