About Biocura

Biocura is an own-label cosmetics name of the discount retailer Aldi. In Spain, Aldi launched a NATRUE-certified natural cosmetics range under the Biocura name in 2018, with products made in Switzerland and Germany. The products in our database carry German and French labels and cover several categories, from soap and shampoo to make-up and face care.

A cross-category selection

The 7 Biocura products we list each belong to a different category: an olive oil toilet soap, a herbal shampoo for oily hair, an intensive hair treatment, a mascara, a Q10 anti-ageing day cream, a moisturiser and a gentle cleansing milk. AQUA appears in all 7, GLYCERIN, PHENOXYETHANOL and PARFUM in 6, CITRIC ACID in 5 and PANTHENOL and SODIUM HYDROXIDE in 4.

Fragrance is declared in 6 formulas (86%) and silicones in 2 (29%). Parabens and denatured alcohol (ALCOHOL DENAT.) each appear in 1 product (14%).

One name, several ranges

Retailer brands such as Biocura can cover different ranges in different countries and years – a certified natural line in one market, conventional products in another – so do not assume one Biocura product reflects the rest. Look for a certification seal such as NATRUE on the pack, and compare lists product by product.
