About Bulldog

Bulldog is a British men's grooming brand founded in 2006 by Simon Duffy, known for products such as moisturiser, face wash and shave gel. The American group Edgewell Personal Care completed its acquisition of the brand in 2016.

Grooming basics

The 7 Bulldog products we list include the Sensitive moisturiser and aftershave balm, the Original aftershave balm with aloe vera, a natural deodorant, a lemon and bergamot shower gel and a baobab, oat and willow herb moisturiser, with labels in English, French and German. GLYCERIN and AQUA appear in all 7, SODIUM STEAROYL GLUTAMATE and SODIUM HYDROXIDE in 6, and ETHYLHEXYL PALMITATE, CAPRYLIC/CAPRIC TRIGLYCERIDE and PHENOXYETHANOL in 5.

Fragrance is declared in only 3 formulas (43%). None contains parabens, silicones or denatured alcohol (ALCOHOL DENAT.).

Sensitive versus Original

Bulldog's Sensitive and Original versions of the same product type can differ in whether they list fragrance – most of the range here does not – so check for PARFUM on the specific pack. The plant names on the front (baobab, oat, willow herb) appear in the list as botanical INCI names such as AVENA SATIVA.
