About Cosmia Baby
Cosmia Baby is the baby care line of Cosmia, the own-label beauty brand of the French retailer Auchan. Alongside conventional products, it includes an organic range launched in 2019 – a 2-in-1 wash gel, moisturiser, liniment, wipes and cleansing water – and, for example, a calendula face and body cream certified COSMOS ORGANIC by Ecocert and made in France. Most entries in our database are wipes (including toilet wipes) and cleansing milk.
Mostly wipes
Baby care products and wet wipes are the two categories among the 12 Cosmia Baby entries, most of which are wipes and cleansing milk. Their preservative-and-cleanser base shows in the ranking: POTASSIUM SORBATE (11) leads after water, followed by SODIUM CITRATE (10), SODIUM BENZOATE (10) and COCO-GLUCOSIDE (9).
Fragrance appears in 8 formulas (67%). None contains parabens, silicones or denatured alcohol (ALCOHOL DENAT.).
Organic or conventional?
The line includes both conventional products and an organic range; certified items, such as the COSMOS ORGANIC calendula cream, carry the certifier's logo and usually an asterisk on organic ingredients. If you want an unscented wipe, check that PARFUM is missing from that particular pack.
