About GSK
GSK (GlaxoSmithKline) is a British pharmaceutical group. Its consumer healthcare business – including Sensodyne, Panadol and Centrum, built up partly through portfolios integrated from Novartis and Pfizer – was separated as the independent company Haleon, with the demerger planned for mid-2022. parodontax, which GSK obtained in 2001, is now also owned by Haleon. The 5 products filed under the GSK name in our database are Odol PLUS, two parodontax items, a Sensodyne sensitivity & gums toothpaste and a Pro-Émail daily mouthwash.
Several brands under one name
Toothpastes (including whitening) and mouthwashes make up the 5 GSK entries. AROMA appears in all 5, then GLYCERIN, SODIUM FLUORIDE, SODIUM SACCHARIN and LIMONENE in 4, and XANTHAN GUM and HYDRATED SILICA in 3.
None declares fragrance (PARFUM), silicones or denatured alcohol (ALCOHOL DENAT.); parabens appear in 1 (20%).
Look for the product brand
These products carry their own brand names – Sensodyne, parodontax, Odol, Pro-Émail – and several have separate pages in our database, so compare a toothpaste with others of the same brand and type. LIMONENE appears here through the flavour (AROMA), not a perfume.
