About Huggies
Huggies is a baby care brand of the American company Kimberly-Clark. It was test-marketed in 1968 and launched nationally in 1977, replacing the earlier Kimbies brand. Besides diapers and training pants – Kimberly-Clark also created Pull-Ups under the Huggies umbrella – the range includes baby wipes such as Natural Care. All 6 products in our database are wipes, among them Everyday, Natural Care, Pure and Extra Care Sensitive.
Six wipes, one backbone
Every one of the 6 Huggies entries is a baby wipe, and their lotion shares a common base: CAPRYLYL GLYCOL, SODIUM CITRATE and SODIUM BENZOATE appear in all 6, then TOCOPHERYL ACETATE, POLYSORBATE 20 and PARFUM in 4, and COCO-BETAINE in 3.
Fragrance is declared in 4 formulas (67%) and silicones in 1 (17%); none contains parabens or denatured alcohol (ALCOHOL DENAT.).
Choosing between wipe variants
With fragrance in two thirds of the wipes, the variant name matters: check whether PARFUM appears on the pack of the version you pick, as sensitive and natural-labelled lines can still differ from one another. Wipe lotions are mostly water, so the ingredients after the first few are present in small amounts.
