About La Rosée
La Rosée is a French pharmacy skincare brand created by Coline and Mahault, two pharmacists who met at the pharmacy faculty in Lyon and wanted a simple, hydration-focused range. It covers face, body, hair, baby (Mon Petit La Rosée), sun care and daily hygiene, and the company obtained B Corp certification in November 2024. Our entries include an ultra-gentle shampoo refill, an apricot sun oil, a mint toothpaste and a shea butter moisturiser.
A short list of very different products
The 4 La Rosée products span sun care, shampoo and a day and night cream, plus the toothpaste. SODIUM HYDROXIDE, AQUA, PARFUM and TOCOPHEROL appear in 3 each; LEVULINIC ACID, SODIUM LEVULINATE, SODIUM CHLORIDE, XANTHAN GUM and GLYCERIN in 2.
Fragrance is declared in 3 (75%); none contains parabens, silicones or denatured alcohol (ALCOHOL DENAT.).
Levulinic acid and its salt
LEVULINIC ACID and SODIUM LEVULINATE usually appear as a pair and are often used in place of classic preservatives; seeing both in the shampoo and cream is consistent with that. The toothpaste is flavoured with AROMA and contains SODIUM FLUORIDE, so compare it with other toothpastes rather than with the skincare items.
