About LaQ
LaQ is a Polish cosmetics brand founded by Karolina and Bernard Latanowicz. It focuses on natural, vegan products for the face, body and hair. The company runs its own laboratory and factory, where it also produces for other brands. LaQ has expanded into several European markets, including Finland, Estonia and the United Kingdom.
LaQ by the numbers
Body and bath products dominate LaQ's 257 entries: body care first, then bath products and shower gels, with hair care and men's care behind. Water aside, PARFUM leads the ingredient ranking, followed by GLYCERIN, POTASSIUM SORBATE, SODIUM BENZOATE and CITRIC ACID.
Scent is close to universal here: 250 of the 257 formulas (97%) contain fragrance ingredients. Silicones are found in just 3 (1%), and none of the formulas lists parabens or denatured alcohol (ALCOHOL DENAT.).
Choosing from the LaQ range
Since fragrance is in nearly every LaQ product, anyone avoiding particular fragrance allergens should look after PARFUM for individually named components such as LINALOOL or LIMONENE – EU rules require them above 0.001% in leave-on and 0.01% in rinse-off products.
