About MizuMi
MizuMi is a Thai skin care brand best known for its sunscreens, which has also expanded to Malaysia. Its range includes facial and body sunscreens – such as the UV Bright Body Serum – and targeted skin care products.
Sunscreens and targeted serums
Sunscreens lead the 7 MizuMi products we list – UV Water Serum (described as 100% mineral), UV Jelly Aqua Fresh and UV Aqua Lock hybrid sunscreens and a UV Cooling Body Serum, all SPF50+ PA++++ – alongside a peptide acne gel, a B3 acne serum and an underarm product. XANTHAN GUM appears in all 7; BUTYLENE GLYCOL, DISODIUM EDTA and PHENOXYETHANOL in 6; TOCOPHERYL ACETATE in 5; and the mineral filter TITANIUM DIOXIDE in 4.
Only 1 formula (14%) declares fragrance. Silicones appear in 3 (43%); none contains parabens or denatured alcohol (ALCOHOL DENAT.).
Mineral, hybrid or chemical
"Mineral" sunscreens rely on TITANIUM DIOXIDE and/or ZINC OXIDE as UV filters, while "hybrid" products combine them with organic filters listed under chemical names. PA++++ is the Asian rating for UVA protection shown next to the SPF; the filters themselves are named in the ingredient list.
