About Omum
Omum is a French organic cosmetics brand dedicated to women's well-being, launched around 2012 with a certified organic range for expectant mothers. Most of its products are made in France and certified organic, and the range has since grown to body care, stretch-mark care, hair care, hygiene products such as intimate wash, deodorant and toothpaste, face creams and dietary supplements.
Products with personalities
Omum gives its products names instead of descriptions – L'Intime, Le Délicat, La Surdouée, Le Cajoleur, La Confidente, Ma Jolie Peau, Le Bienfaiteur – and the 8 we list cover body milks (2), a soap, a roll-on deodorant, intimate hygiene and face creams. TOCOPHEROL and AQUA appear in 6, XANTHAN GUM in 5, and SESAMUM INDICUM SEED OIL, ALOE BARBADENSIS LEAF JUICE POWDER, GLYCERIN and PARFUM in 4 each.
Exactly half the formulas, 4 (50%), declare fragrance. None contains parabens, silicones or denatured alcohol (ALCOHOL DENAT.).
Decoding the product names
Because names like La Confidente say nothing about the product type, check the small print on the pack for what it is – intimate wash, body milk or face cream – before comparing lists. On certified organic products, an asterisk usually marks organic ingredients, and SESAMUM INDICUM is sesame.
