About St. Moriz
St. Moriz is a self-tan brand launched in the UK in 2007 by HotHouse Brands, whose founder Dawn McDaid represents the company. Its range includes mousses, lotions, mists, sprays, exfoliators and tanning mitts, and the brand has been described in the trade press as one of the best-selling self-tan names in the UK and Ireland.
Professional tans and an after-sun
Our 4 St. Moriz entries are three Professional products – a Medium face mist and Medium and Dark body mousses – plus a Suncare cooling after-sun balm. ETHYLHEXYLGLYCERIN, PHENOXYETHANOL, AQUA, PARFUM, PROPYLENE GLYCOL and DIHYDROXYACETONE appear in all 4; SODIUM METABISULFITE, ETHOXYDIGLYCOL, GLYCERIN, LIMONENE, CITRIC ACID and TOCOPHERYL ACETATE in 3.
All 4 declare fragrance (100%) and 1 contains silicones (25%). There are no parabens and no denatured alcohol (ALCOHOL DENAT.).
DHA in an after-sun
DIHYDROXYACETONE turns up in all 4 entries, so the after-sun balm in our data also carries a tanning agent – worth knowing if you want plain after-sun care. Mousse shades differ mainly in tanning-agent and colourant levels, so read the Medium and Dark lists side by side.
