Lists of products whose ingredient list has no fragrance, parabens, silicones, SLS/SLES and more – checked against the INCI list of every product in our database.
The lists are generated automatically from the ingredient lists in our database. Formulas change – always check the label on the pack. “Free from” does not mean better or safer.
Fragrance-free cosmetics · 6,552 products
Products whose ingredient list in our database contains none of PARFUM, FRAGRANCE or AROMA. Some may still contain essential oils, plant extracts with a scent or individually listed fragrance substances such as LIMONENE or LINALOOL.
Paraben-free cosmetics · 19,814 products
Products whose ingredient list contains no ingredient with “PARABEN” in its INCI name (for example METHYLPARABEN or PROPYLPARABEN). The product may use other preservatives.
Silicone-free cosmetics · 15,928 products
Products whose ingredient list contains no INCI names with “METHICONE”, “SILOXANE” or “DIMETHICONOL” – this covers dimethicone, cyclopentasiloxane, amodimethicone and most common silicones, but not every silicone-based polymer.
Denatured-alcohol-free cosmetics · 18,903 products
Products whose ingredient list does not contain ALCOHOL DENAT. (denatured ethanol). Fatty alcohols such as CETEARYL ALCOHOL are a different group and may still be present.
SLS- and SLES-free cosmetics · 17,613 products
Products whose ingredient list contains neither LAURYL SULFATE nor LAURETH SULFATE (SLS, SLES, ALS, ALES). Other sulfate surfactants, such as SODIUM COCO-SULFATE, are not excluded.
Mineral-oil-free cosmetics · 19,754 products
Products whose ingredient list contains none of PARAFFINUM LIQUIDUM, MINERAL OIL or PETROLATUM. Other petroleum-derived ingredients, such as paraffin wax, are not excluded.
PEG-free cosmetics · 16,182 products
Products whose ingredient list contains no INCI name starting with “PEG-” (polyethylene glycol derivatives). Related ingredients such as PPG or polysorbates are not excluded.
Prostaglandin-analogue-free lash serums
Products whose ingredient list contains no prostaglandin analogue – we exclude every INCI name containing “PROST”, e.g. ISOPROPYL CLOPROSTENATE, ETHYL TAFLUPROSTAMIDE, METHYLAMIDO-DIHYDRO-NORALFAPROSTAL, BIMATOPROST. The list says nothing about how the remaining products work or how well they are tolerated.
