What it is
2-Oleamido-1,3-octadecanediol is a ceramide-type compound in which oleic acid is bonded through an amide link to an octadecanediol backbone. CosIng lists it as a skin-conditioning agent.
Where it is used
Used in creams, serums, lotions and hair care products.
