What it is
Acanthopanax senticosus root extract is an extract of the roots of Siberian ginseng (eleuthero), Acanthopanax senticosus (Eleutherococcus senticosus), of the ivy family (Araliaceae). Despite its common name, it is not a true ginseng (Panax). CosIng lists it as a skin-conditioning and soothing ingredient.
