An acetylated form of the amino acid tyrosine used in tanning products.
What it is
Acetyl tyrosine is N-acetyl-L-tyrosine, the acetylated form of the amino acid tyrosine. CosIng lists it as a skin-conditioning and tanning ingredient.
Where it is used
Found in tanning accelerators, sun care products and self-tanning products.
Limits of interpretation
