What it is
Alteromonas ferment extract is the extract of the product obtained by fermentation with bacteria of the genus Alteromonas, which occur in seawater. CosIng lists it as a skin-conditioning agent.
Where it is used
Found in creams, serums and other skin care products, often in marine-themed ranges.
