What it is
Aminopropyl dimethicone is a polydimethylsiloxane (dimethicone) in which some methyl groups are replaced by 3-aminopropyl groups, with trimethylsilyl end groups. CosIng lists it as a hair-conditioning ingredient.
Where it is used
Appears on the ingredient lists of a small number of products.
