What it is
Argilla extract is, according to CosIng, an extract of clays of the smectite mineral group, layered silicates such as montmorillonite. CosIng lists it as a skin-conditioning agent.
Where it is used
Appears on the ingredient lists of a small number of products.
Limits of interpretation
