What it is
Avena sativa extract is an extract of the whole plant of oat, Avena sativa, of the grass family (Poaceae). CosIng lists it as an antimicrobial, antioxidant and anti-sebum ingredient.
Where it is used
Found in creams, cleansers, hair care products and other skin care products.
