A complex ester used as an emollient and thickener.

What it is

This is a large ester of dimer dilinoleyl dimer dilinoleate end-capped with a mixture of phytosterols, behenyl alcohol and isostearyl alcohol. CosIng lists it as an emollient, hair-conditioning, skin-conditioning and viscosity-controlling agent.

Where it is used

Used in lipsticks, lip glosses, lip balms, creams and hair care products.
