What it is

Bis-hydroxy/methoxy amodimethicone is an amodimethicone, a silicone polymer with amino-functional groups, whose chain ends carry hydroxy and methoxy groups. CosIng lists it as a hair-conditioning agent.

Where it is used

Found in conditioners, hair masks, leave-in products and some shampoos.
