What it is
Bis-PEG-4 dimethicone is a polydimethylsiloxane (dimethicone) terminated at both ends with polyethylene glycol chains containing on average 4 ethylene oxide units. CosIng lists it as an emollient, hair-conditioning and skin-conditioning ingredient.
Where it is used
Appears on the ingredient lists of a small number of products.
