A silicone resin with long alkyl chains, used as a film former.
What it is
C30-45 alkyldimethylsilyl polypropylsilsesquioxane is a silicone resin built from propylsilsesquioxane units and capped with dimethylsilyl groups that carry long C30-45 alkyl chains. CosIng lists it as a film-forming ingredient.
Where it is used
Found in make-up such as lipsticks, mascaras and foundations.
