A calcium salt of a pantetheine derivative, used for hair and skin conditioning.
What it is
Calcium pantetheine sulfonate is the calcium salt of pantetheine S-sulfonate, a thiosulfate derivative of pantetheine, which is formed from pantothenic acid (vitamin B5) and cysteamine. CosIng lists it as a hair-conditioning and skin-conditioning ingredient.
Where it is used
Found in a small number of products, such as hair care and skin care products.
