What it is
Calcium pantothenate is the calcium salt of pantothenic acid, also known as vitamin B5. CosIng lists it as a hair-conditioning and skin-conditioning agent.
Where it is used
Used in shampoos, conditioners, hair treatments, creams and serums.

It is related to panthenol (provitamin B5) but is a different substance.

- Enhancing the appearance of dry and/or damaged skin by reducing flaking and restoring suppleness.
