Plant wax esters of polyglycerin-3 used as emulsifiers and emulsion stabilisers.
What it is
Candelilla/jojoba/rice bran polyglyceryl-3 esters are obtained by transesterifying polyglycerin-3 with candelilla wax (Euphorbia cerifera), jojoba wax and rice bran wax. CosIng lists them as an emulsion stabiliser and emulsifying and cleansing surfactant.
Where it is used
Found in creams, lotions and other emulsions.

- Helping the process of emulsification and improving emulsion stability and shelf-life.

- Wetting body surfaces, emulsifying or solubilizing oils, and suspending soil (generally, such ingredients contribute to the foaming and lathering properties of cleansing products).
