A light emollient ester.
What it is
Cetyl ethylhexanoate is the ester of cetyl alcohol and 2-ethylhexanoic acid. CosIng lists it as an emollient.
Where it is used
Found in creams, lotions, make-up, sun care and cleansing oils.
Limits of interpretation
