An essential oil pressed from orange peel.
What it is
Citrus aurantium dulcis peel oil is the volatile oil obtained by expression from the peel of the sweet orange (Citrus sinensis). CosIng lists it as fragrance and skin conditioning.
Where it is used
Found in perfumes, shower gels, body care, hand care and products with a citrus scent.
Limits of interpretation
The INCI list shows which ingredients are present, not how much of each. Above 1%, ingredients are listed in descending order of weight; below 1% the order is free.
Citrus peel oils naturally contain fragrance components such as limonene, which may also be listed separately on the label.
