An essential oil pressed from sweet orange peel, used for perfuming.
What it is
Citrus sinensis peel oil expressed is the essential oil obtained by expression from the fresh outer peel of the Valencia sweet orange, Citrus sinensis, of the citrus family (Rutaceae). Its main constituent is limonene. CosIng lists it as a perfuming ingredient.
Where it is used
Found in shower gels, soaps, body lotions, hand creams and other citrus-scented products.
Limits of interpretation

As a natural material, its composition can vary between batches. Fragrance allergens it contains, such as limonene, may be listed separately on the label.
