What it is
Crithmum maritimum extract is an extract of the whole plant of sea fennel, also called rock samphire, Crithmum maritimum, of the carrot family (Apiaceae), a plant that grows on coastal rocks. CosIng lists it as a skin-conditioning and tonic ingredient.
Where it is used
Found in creams, serums, toners and other products with a marine theme.
